This class includes the use of diagnostic testers to perform load and no-load battery and charging system tests, parasitic tests for excessive key-off current, and starter draw tests for excessive or insufficient current load. Voltage drop tests are also included to assist the technician in using a DVOM to diagnose faulty electrical systems.
